NRI don Chhota Rajan's secret life and loves... Santosh Shetty, currently in the custody of Mumbai police has spilled the beans about Chhota Rajan his mentor-turned enemy, including the story of Rajan's Iranian girlfriend and son, and how he escaped from Bangkok with 'military help' who aided his transportation till the Cambodian border.

In his statement Shetty who was deported from Bangkok exposed Rajan's extensive network of nefarious personal and criminal business intrigue across several countries, in which Shetty confessed he played a big part.

Shetty also said during Rajan's stay in Tehran he fell in love with his caretaker, who bore him a son.

NRI woman murdered by husband in Delhi Sumit Handa 31, a business development manager with a travel agency in Delhi reportedly had a strained relationship with his wife Niranjani 27. He has now been arrested for murdering her, concealing her body in a plastic bag and taking it to a deserted area in Haryana, where he burned it.

After Sumit returned from Haryana, he filed a police complaint that his wife was missing. He initially said his wife served him tea laced with sedatives and when he woke up she was gone with cash and jewellery.

Police investigations revealed that he had an altercation with Niranjani. When interrogated, he confessed and took police to the location where he had burned her body.

Sumit and Niranjani met in Durban, South Africa in 2005 where he worked in her father's office. They married in 2007 and moved to India in 2011. They have a one-year-old son.




UK NRI conman gets 3 year jail sentence

UK NRI conman gets 3 year jail sentence Rajesh Karadia 48, persuaded his colleague Michael Tubbutt who has learning difficulties, to open a joint bank account with him. He also persuaded Tubbutt to sell his house.

Karadia then withdrew money from the joint account and deposited it into his own personal account.

Karadia pleaded guilty to the theft that took place in 2004, 2005 and 2006.

He has now been given a jail sentence of three years for the con in the East Midlands city of Leicester.

The luckless Tubbutt said he was ashamed that he thought Karadia was a friend, but he was used and betrayed by him.

Arrest of NRI K R Prasad reveals nexus with politicians The CBI has arrested industrialist Koneru Rajendra Prasad aka 'Dubai Prasad' founder and chairman of Trimex Group and promoter of Stylish Homes Real Estate Limited on charges of cheating, criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust, forgery and falsification of accounts.

The CBI say he sold plots developed by Emaar-MGF in the Emaar-APIIC township for Rs.25,000 to Rs.50,000 p.s.y. while official records showed just Rs.5000. This resulted in huge losses to the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC).

This has also led to the CBI now examining Prasad's relationship with former AP chief ministers N. Chandrababu Naidu and YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

Prasad and his sons also have business interests in mining, real estate, infrastructure, trading and shipping in India and abroad.

NRIs accused of murder released from Sharjah jail Of the eight Punjabi men who escaped the death sentence in Sharjah, UAE four are to return home immediately. The men were pardoned after a payment of blood money was made to the father of the deceased Pakistani.

The Dubai based hotelier who paid the blood money of Rs.62 lakhs said Rajesh Kumar, Sukhpal Singh, Charanjeet and Rashwinder Pal were released from the Sharjah jail on completing their sentence of three years in prison for bootlegging and will return to Punjab shortly.

The four remaining men have not been released by the authorities as they are named in some other cases in Dubai.

The Indian consulate in the UAE also helped arrange emergency travel documents so they could go back home.
