Another terror attack in New Delhi Over ten people were killed and over 60 injured in a powerful blast outside a Delhi High Court gate at 10.15am (Sept 7). The explosives were packed in a briefcase left at the high court reception area.

The government is investigating an email allegedly sent by the Pakistan-based terrorist group Harkat-ul-Jihad Islami, claiming responsibility for the medium-intensity bomb blast.

Police have cordoned off the area that is not far from Parliament and the Prime Minister's Office.

The blast was the second explosion at the high court this year. On May 25, a small explosion that appeared to be a failed car bomb hit the court parking lot.

Assange to Mayawati - "Send your private jet to bring me to India!"
Report dated 07/09/2011 @ 5:56 PM

Assange to Mayawati - Julian Assange, WikiLeaks founder responded to UP CM Mayawati's outburst that he should be put in a mental asylum, for the leaked US diplomatic cables that told of her private jet being sent to Mumbai to fetch her a pair of sandals, and called her an "egomaniac". She offered him the Agra mental asylum if his own country had no place for him.

Assange responded and rejected Mayawati's allegations that the documents were fake, saying they are official papers from the US embassy, made by US diplomats in their private communications to Hillary Clinton. He asked that Mayawati admit her error and apologise.

He added that asylum, political asylum, in India, is very welcome and she could send her private jet to England where he is detained under house arrest to collect him. He would be happy to accept asylum in India - "a nation I love".
